Saavedra

With an area of 5.9 km², concentrates its business in its two main arteries: Cabildo Avenue and Avenida Ricardo Balbin, connecting it to major transit corridors and public transport in the city.

It is characterized as a residential district of low houses with numerous green and recreational spaces (including stand Saavedra Park, Peace Park and General Sarmiento Park), as well as for its tranquility and traditional neighborhood life style.

Within the neighborhood, relatively low population density, four distinct zones:

     The traditional urban fabric.
     The Residential District Cornelio Saavedra (located behind the Sarmiento Park, armed with concentric circular streets)
     The President Roque Saenz Peña neighborhood around the street Valdenegro
     The Mitre neighborhood, behind the factory Phillips
